Public Engagement (for academic activities, see research)

I engage with a wide range of topics within the field of English Puritanism and World Christianity, in both English and Chinese. I am especially interested in introducing Puritan conformity and ecclesiastical politics as well as their modern reception to the wider, non-academic audience. I also explore and promote diversity and inclusivity within evangelical Christianity today.

The Overtones Podcast

I co-host the Overtones Podcast with my fellow Oxonians LaRae Cherukara and Joe Rhee. Overtones explores and celebrates lesser-heard voices within Christianity, both historically and today. We interview Christian academics, professionals, and church workers, covering topics such as war and humanitarian aid, homosexuality in Puritan America, the experience of single women in evangelical churches, and awareness of disability within the church.
